Green Street Local, located at 130 S Green Street, is a West Loop neighborhood spot that offers guests Chicago comfort food with a grown-up twist. Select craft cocktails, an informed beer selection and wine priced for enjoyment round out the locally focused menu.

Staying true to its passion, Green Street Local uses Chicago as the inspiration, with the city and its diverse neighborhoods informing the concept. Chicago can be seen throughout from the menu names, dish inspirations, regionally sourced ingredients and more.

“We wanted to create a spot that would make people feel at home, like it was their kitchen. Like our name implies, we’re hyper focused on the local scene and giving guests a place that they can frequent several times a week and never get bored. We created the menu with diversity in mind so it’s always fresh and exciting.



Green Street Local Boasts a menu that offers something for everyone with generous portions and a wide range of options that will keep the menu feeling new to repeat diners. Guests will see Chicago throughout the menu from the Maxwell Street inspired Fried Pork Chop to the Pilsen Burger with a black bean patty. The Chicago Flag even gets a nod with a Red, White and Blue Salad with red beets, white panzanella and bleu cheese. Other menu highlights include, Fried Chicken and Donuts, Captain Calamari with a Captain Crunch batter and the Local Steak Sandwich.

The beverage program includes a tightly curated list with six seasonal cocktails, including a deconstructed Jack & Coke, Local Mule & The City Breeze. Beer lovers will see 50 different types of beer available, with 16 on tap. The wine menu is affordably priced with consumption in mind and features a satisfying mix of bottle and by-the-glass options.



Green Street Local looks forward to turning new diners into regulars by offering great food, quality beverages and expert service in welcoming environment. Sports fans will experience an alternative to the usual sports bar fare and will enjoy local games on the 30 TV’s in the bar space. With its close proximity to the United Center, Green Street Local will be a destination for pre and post game outings.



The multi-level space was designed by Lewis Giannoulias and their award-winning design firm. The 5,000 square-foot space offers guests a comfortable lounge atmosphere that is inviting. The space features high ceilings, a sleek color palette, warm woods and high top seating. Stylish green plaid acoustical panels on the North wall help control the volume to ensure that guests can chat with ease while dining. The 22 seat bar features power outlets and usb hubs for guests to power up while they relax. Free Wi-Fi is also available, making Green Street Local an ideal spot for working lunches.

Green Street Local also has private event capabilities with the upper level accommodating 60 guests for cocktailing and 30 seated. Tailored event menus are available and can be customized for a wide range of events.

In the warmer months, guests can look forward to patio dining, which will include seating for 25 on Green Street.
